Welcome to Sez-U Theatre

We work collaboratively with groups and individuals to encourage the exchange of ideas between people and their culture. To make the experience of live theatre, devised performance, scriptwriting and film-making accessible to the community.

Sez-U is a non-profit making company formed in 1998. We create and stage new theatre and film, delivering workshops, creative writing, performance and video. To send us an e-mail click here. We are based in the new Arts Quarter at Spencer Yard in Leamington Spa.

Exciting new projects for 2010

We soldier on, waiting in line at the funding theme park for the roller coaster white knuckle ride that delivers, or not, project finance for a company with no core funding.

In the pipe line:

Play In A Day. An ambitious project to put on one off events that attempt to create a play in a day, yes that’s right, research, devise, improvise and perform to a paying audience a play that has been created in less than 12 hours.

Arch and Ashby’s Agrarian Arcade. To create a touring show based on the lives of these two Warwickshire rural hero’s that will be self contained inside our marquee. This tented, show booth is intended to tour the village shows, fetes and galas across Warwickshire during 2010-11

At the moment we are working with Campion Youth Club on a music video / film.
