Welcome to Sez-U Theatre

We work collaboratively with groups and individuals to encourage the exchange of ideas between people and their culture. To make the experience of live theatre, devised performance, scriptwriting and film-making accessible to the community.
Sez-U is a non-profit making company formed in 1998. We create and stage new theatre and film, delivering workshops, creative writing, performance and video. To send us an e-mail click here.
Exciting new projects for 2011
This year we have been working with a visual artist in schools with drama and art projects. We have found this to be an exciting way to engage young people with active learning. Below is an example of a project which we produced in Lincolnshire with primary school years 4-6 in collaboration with the county arts and archaeology service. Using real Roman artifacts as inspiration, we created a Roman marketplace, a giant floorcloth mosaic in two days and finished with a play for the parents.
Just to say a huge thank you on behalf of our school for providing the children with such a rich and cultural experience for the last two days, and it has been an absolute pleasure working with you. This really is what learning is about - fun, enthusiasm and inspiration. What the children achieved in the very tight schedule was super, down to yourself and Laura. All the comments have been so positive from parents and children, which is great. During parents evening, children who came back could not stop talking about it all!
